1. What are the main differences between the Epiphan VGADVI Broadcaster and the Epiphan Lecture Recorder X2. They both seem very similar.

-Epiphan VGADVI Broadcaster has 8GB Storage and the Epiphan Lecture Recorder X2 has 16GB.


2. How are HDMI camera inputs or HDMI TV outputs used with these two Epiphan devices? Does it come with HDMI adapters?

-Yes it comes with HDMI adapter.


3. Is the 'big red button' you mentioned included as part of either of these systems?

-Yes, The Red Button starts/stops the recording and it can simply record directly to the USB stick and/or locally and stream.


4. And lastly, I just wanted to confirm the simple workflow my boss wants to use:
An instructor could walk up to the Epiphan device, plug in his flash drive, hit a button to record, hit the button to stop recording, have the system automatically encode and save the video on the flash drive that the instructor plugged in, then remove the flash drive and leave with the newly encoded video in his/her pocket. The next instructor walks in ... repeat.

We really need it to be that simple ...
